Connie Charles Armstrong, a mighty man of valor, was born June 26, 1925. He was called from the battlefield to enter into the presence of his Savior on August 11, 2007. He left behind to carry on the legacy of his faith, Harriet Armstrong, loving wife of fifty-six years; five sons; sister, Rosalee Floyd; eleven grandchildren; and all those influenced by his kindness and leadership.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at Prestonwood Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.

Preceded in death by his parents Connie and Nora Armstrong and his brother Donald D. Armstrong
