Polly Ann Conant BAIR, age 85 of Camden, Ohio died Sun. Dec. 19, 2004 at Heartland of Eaton. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 1st, 1919 to Arthur and Patti (Merriman) Conant who were Rookwood Pottery artists. She attended Cincinnati Art Academy and was a designer of compacts for the Wadsworth Watch Company in Kentucky. She joined the American Red Cross in 1944 serving as a member of the Recreational Division in France during WWII. She met her husband of 31 years Richard V. Bair while they were both serving during WWII. They were married in upstate New York in 1945. He preceded her in death in 1976. She was the former owner of the Bair Insurance Agency. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in West Elkton.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Richard V. Bair, her parents Arthur and Patti Conant and her sister Sarah Almy.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Belinda A. Bair of Earleville, Md. and Salli (Richard) Corrington of Camden. One son Richard A. (Dolly) Bair also of Camden. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Heather (Harvey) Campbell, Matt (Eliza) Bair and Mark and Matt Corrington. She had 3 great grandchildren, Taylor Bair and Kaylie and Dylan Campbell who were a joy to her in her last years. She is also survived by a sister Jane Ranger of Florida.

A memorial service will be held Dec 23rd from 5-7 at the United Methodist Church in West Elkton, Ohio.
