Son of Harry Hoyle & Lucy Oates.
He served in the US Army in WWI in the 113th Regiment serving in France.
He was awarded the WWI Victory Medal upon his return home in May 1919.
Nov 23, 1919 he married Theresa Summerer.
Frederick died in 1924 as a result of being gased during the war, and his young wife died less than a year after him.
His two children, Mabel Helen and Fred, were then orphaned and raised by their maternal grandmother, Hannah Summerer.
