Her loving and dear husband, Ross Mashon, preceded her and they are now together again, as well seven other brothers and sisters.
Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd., until religious service, conducted by the Rev. Bruce Worrell. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, W. Lynn and Sherry S. May; a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Dallas R. Stillwell of Baton Rouge; three grandchildren, Debbie May Lihou, Jeff May and Rowdy Stillwell; stepgrandson, Jason Beck; six great-grandchildren, Hunter, Noah, Austin, Alexis, Jacob and Justin; and numerous nieces and nephews. Doris "Dot" loved to cook and entertain family and friends.
She was a loyal member of the Lady Elks of Baton Rouge Lodge 490.
Preceded in death by her parents, William Henry Prewitt and Rosa Lee Redden.
