She was born on March 19, 1920 in Havana, IL to Peter Friedrich and Maude Eyman. She married Carrol "Barney" Blessman on July 18, 1942 in St. Charles, MO. He died on July 16, 2004.
She had two sons, Bill (Vicky) Blessman of Manito, IL, Doug (Donna) Blessman of Bath, IL, two daughters, Mrs. Don (Linda) Udey of Springfield, IL, and Jill Blessman of Springfield, IL. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and one brother, Hulette "Hoot" Friedrich of Danville, IL..
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Carolyn Blessman, three brothers, Arthur, Clyde and Henry and five sisters, Irma, Alma, Hilda, Neita, and Winnie.
She was a member of the St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Havana and she worked as a homemaker in her own home.
Services were held on Janurary 25, 2005 at the St. Barnabas Episcopal church at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, January 24 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana.
Memorials may be made to the St. Barnabas Episcopal Church or Mason District Hospital.
