Adair Hobert E, 86, of R. 2, Albion, died today at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born Dec. 6, 1896 in Noble County, the son of Thomas and Parmelia (McMann) Adair. On Oct. 4, 1916 he married Mamie Boner, who died Nov. 5, 1976. He grew up in the Wolf Lake area and moved to the Albion area in 1929 where he resided until going to Miller's Merry Manor in LaGrange in 1982. He was a retired York Twp farmer and former Noble County Highway Department employee. Surviving are two sons, Harry D. of Indianapolis, and Max of Brimfield; one granddaughter and three great-grandchildren. Three brothers and four sisters preceded him in death. Services Monday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. Burial, Christian Chapel Cemetery. + 4-22-1983
