Edna Ann VanAntwerp-Troth, 89, died Sunday, May 18, 2003, at St. Francis Hospital Beech Grove. She was a resident of Indianapolis. She was born June 20, 1913, in Dalton County, Ill. Her parents were John and Sarah Gatchel. She married Dr. J.O. VanAntwerp on June 19, 1960, at Tabernacle Christian Church in Franklin. He preceded her in death Nov. 25, 1985. She then married Howard Wendell Troth on Oct. 8, 1989. He preceded her in death Jan. 12, 1997.

Survivors include three stepsons, Robert VanAntwerp of Belair, Md., Gary Troth of Greenwood and Randy Troth of Plainfield; and four stepdaughters, Sue VanAntwerp-Spencer of Columbus, Carolyn Troth-Meek of Rockville, Sharon Troth-Lee of Columbus and Linda Troth-Davis of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

She was a graduate of Dalton High School in Dalton, Ill. She was employed by Lord's Women's Dress Shop in Franklin as a manager. She was a member of Tabernacle Christian Church and the Evening Women's Group. She was also a member of Franklin Business and Professional Women's Club and active in the Republican party and the Lord's Cupboard. She was a past worthy matron of Franklin Order of the Eastern Star 439.

Services were entrusted to Vandivier Tudor Funeral Home of Franklin, Indiana.
