Anne Patterson Brock a longtime resident of Needham died on Thursday August 2nd at the Stanley R. Tippet House in Needham, she was84 years old.
Born in Newton, she was the daughter of the late Ralph M. and Enid L. (Baush) Patterson. Mrs. Brock was a graduate of Newton High School Class of 1942. She attended Faulkner Hospital School of Nursing. Anne ran "Brock's Bed and Breakfast" in Needham for several years. She was an active member of the Congregational Church in Needham and a volunteer with the Needham Community Council and the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham. Beloved wife of the late Albert Franklin "Frank" Brock. Loving mother of Roger H. Brock of Needham and the late Amy Louise Brock Pruyne. Mother in law of Alan R. Pruyne of Mystic CT. Sister of Jean Patterson Smith of Concord and Roger William Patterson of Alameda CA. Dear grandmother of Ashley and Austin Pruyne. A Memorial Service will be held at the Congregational Church of Needham at a later date. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
