Dora (Dorothy) Ida (Guetzke) Gruling, age 78 yrs. died Sept. 25, 1994 in Linden Grove Health Care Center, Waukesha, WI. She was born March 11, 1916 to Robert and Emily (Zibolsky) Guetzke in Germantown, Washington Co. WI. Dorothy married Theodore E. Gruling July 11, 1931 at Lannon, WI, Waukesha Co. WI.She was a former resident of East Troy, WI and member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, East Troy, WI. Surviving are two daughters and six sons; Mary Ann (Howard) Marquardt, Eagle, Alfred (late Joann), East Troy, Theodore Jr. (Florence) , North Prairie, Delmar (Jean) Waukesha, June (Arlen) Carroll, Ft. Atkinson, Frederick, East Troy, Franklin (Diane) Palmyra; 22 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; one sister Tillie (Guetzke) Weber, Germantown; three sisters-in-law; and other relatives and friends. Dora was preceded in death by her husband Theodore Sr.; a son Roger, a grandson Jeffery Gruling; eight brothers Edwin, Robert Jr., Albert, Gustav, Harold, Gilbert, Hilbert, and Hubert; Five sisters Laura Kollath, Lillie Gildemeister Viola Borchert, Mae Schmidt, and Pearl Schneider. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wed., Sep. 28, 1994, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, East Troy, WI. Visitation Tuesday at Mealy’s Funeral Home, Eagle, WI after 4:00 p.m. and at 12:00 p.m. Wed. at the church until time of service. Pastor Timothy Kujath will officiate. Burial in Evergreen/Quarterline Cemetery, Town of Troy, Walworth Co. WI. (Hwy 20).
