Alice Lorraine Bishop

TRUMANN -- Mrs. Alice Lorraine Bishop, 41, of Trumann died Wednesday, Aug. 1, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Kokomo, Ind., she had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. She was a certified nurse's aide and of the Pentecostal faith.

Mrs. Bishop was preceded in death by one son, Benjamin Lee Bishop; and her father, Arthur A. Reeves.

Survivors include one daughter, Brandi Lynn Bishop of West Memphis; one son, Andrew Lee Bishop of Trumann; her mother, Gertrude Reeves of the home; her girlfriend, Tammy Kitchen of the home; one sister, Peggy L. Thompson of Trumann; four brothers, Gene Reeves and James Reeves, both of Trumann, David Reeves of Elkhart, Ind., and Homer Lee Reeves of Southaven, Miss.; two stepbrothers, Jerry Reeves and Jimmy Reeves, both of Hardy; and one grandson, Brandon Jean Bishop.

Graveside services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland with the Rev. Chad O'Brien officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.

Pallbearers will be Michael Clanton, Gary Williams, Christopher Ballard, Andrew Bishop, Carl Wilson and Jerry Lyley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Reeves and Jamie Grant.

Visitation will be tonight from 5-6 in Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.
