OBITUARY: Mrs. William H. Baugh Dies in Keezletown. Mrs. Bettie Baugh, wife of William H. Baugh, of Keezletown, died yesterday afternoon at her home. She had been ill during the last eight months of tuberculosis and her condition for several days was known to have been critical. Mrs. Baugh was Miss Bettie Black, a daughter of the late Joseph Black, and was fifty years old. She was a member of the Methodist Church for about thirty years and was a woman of excellent Christian character. Besides her husband and her mother, Mrs. Johanna Black, of Keezletown, she is survived by six children, Joseph Baugh of Wilmington, NC; Mrs. Edward Purcell, of Harrisonburg; Kenny Baugh, of Keezletown; Misses Marie, Fannie and Florence Baugh at home. She also leaves three brothers, Charlie Black of Keezletown, Burlington Black of Iowa; B.F. Black of Holtane, VA and one sister, Mrs. Delia Riddle of Port Republic. Funeral arrangements wil not be announced until the time of arrival of relatives from a distance is ascertained. The Daily News Record Nov. 1, 1915.
