FABIUS -- March 10 -- Mrs. Florence Schoonmaker Adsit, wife of Percy Adsit was taken seriously ill and despite the best of medical aid passed away last Friday morning [Mar. 7]

Mrs. Adsit was 26 years of age and the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Schoonmaker and leaves to mourn her loss her husband, and Muriel Frances, three months old, her father and mother, also six brothers, Harvey F., Walter , James G., Floyd B., Edgar R., and Charles F. Schoonmaker all of Fabius besides a large circle of friends and other relatives.
She was a member of the Baptist Church and of the Philathea class of this place, was well liked by all who knew her and had many dear friends. The funeral was held at the residence of her father Sunday at one o'clock, the Rev. George Bowler officiating. Burial in the Fabius Evergreen Cemetery here. There were many relatives and friends from Syracuse, Tully, Apulia and other places at the funeral.
