Robert was born Jan. 9, 1870 in Milwaukee, Wis., to William and Johanna (Schwantes) Guetzke. He married Emily Zibolsky, Jan. 5, 1893 in Milwaukee, Wis. Dear Father of 6 sons; Edward, Robert Jr., Gustave, Albert, Harold, Gilbert, and Hilbert Guetzke; 7 daughters; Laura Kollath, Lillie Gildemeister, Viola Borchert, Mae Schmidt, Pearl Schneider, Tillie Weber, and Dorothy Gruling; also survived by 1 sister, Ida (Guetzke) Phippen, 1 brother-in-law, Frank Rode; 54 grandchildren, and 51 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his wife and 2 sons, Hubert and Gustave Guetzke; 2 brothers, August and Ferdinand Guetzke; and sister Lena (Guetzke) Rode. Funeral Saturday at A.A. Schmidt and Sons Funeral Home, Menomonee Falls, Interment Last Home Cemetery, Germantown, Wis.
