Alyn R. Carville Dies Suddenly

Nevada Governor's Brother Stricken

Alyn R. Carville, fifty-five-year old brother of Gov. E.P. Carville, died here this morning following a heart attack. Mr. Carville worked all day yesterday at his position with the Standard Oil Company, and his associates said he appeared in excellent health.

He was born and reared in Elko County, where he attended the local schools. As a youth he was associated with his father in the operation of a warehouse and commission business in Elko and later became the agent for Standard Oil in that city. For a while he was located in Lovelock, and for the last seventeen years has been with the Standard Oil in this city, making a total of twenty-four years with that company.

In addition to his brother, he leaves his widow and a sister, Mrs. H.U. Castle, of Elko, and several nephews. Funeral services will be announced later by the O'Brien-Rogers Company.
