Calvin was the son of Talton BLAND, who came to Georgia from North Carolina about 1825; Calvin's children by Lucinda were Frank, William, Harriet, and Eliza [Nancy Kate Rogers' "History of Chattahoochee County, Georgia," (1933), p. 307].
