Herb was the husband of Arvada (Hall) Westrick; Father of Barbara, Shirley [Mumper], Cathy [Rodriguez], David, and Phillip; and Grandfather to Christopher James Westrick. In addition to his immediate family, he was survived by Sons-in-law Albert Rodriguez and Gary Mumper; Daughters-in-law Sue Westrick and Judy Westrick; and many step-grandchildren including: Kimberly Mumper, Cameron Mumper, Ailis Mumper, and Halley Mumper.

Herb was a parishioner at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church and also attended and assisted at noon Mass at Saint John's Cathedral.

A dedicated and faithful servant of the Lord.

A viewing and Rosary were conducted at Palm Colonial Funeral Home's Memorial Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial took place at Saint John's Cathedral with interment at Saint Peter's Cemetery.
