Dorothy Anne Allison born March 31, 1856 the daughter of John B. & Elizabeth Mosby Woodson Allison, taught school for many years in Kansas, Oklahoma and Sturgeon, Missouri.

Never married.

Dorothy had four sisters & 4 brothers.
Sisters: Arabella Jane , Martha Elizabeth, Emma Jemima, and Mary Edith Allison. Martha died when she was a year old, but the other girls lived to adulthood.
Brothers: George Wilkerson, Benjamin Alexander, John Stephen, and William Mosby Allison.

Dollie was my great-great aunt & painted as a hobby. The family has a painted plate signed & dated 1880 by Aunt Dollie which has hung in our family's home for years.
