Harry E. Herbert was the only child of Harry and Emma Herbert of Chicago, Illinois. He served with pride in the United States Marine Corp and graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in Industrial Engineering. In 1951, he married Roselyn B. Gesicki, also of Chicago. They had three children named Linda, James and John. Harry loved golf and was an eternal Chicago Cubs fan. A paver brick in his memory can be found next to Wrigley Field on the sidewalk adjacent to Addison St. He is extremely missed.
