Vera Belmont-Quinn

A visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, at Musgrove Family Mortuary for Vera D. Belmont-Quinn of Eugene, who died July 6 of age related causes at 100. No service is planned.

She was born April 27, 1907, in Burwell, Neb., to Willis and Pearl Price. She married Perry Belmont on June 16, 1928, in Portland. He died in 1971. She married Roy Quinn on Sept. 13, 1976, in Elko, Nev. He died in 1982.

She attended grade school in Montana and completed business school in Miles City, Mont. She was a "Rosie the Riveter" at the Commercial Ironworks in Portland, and worked for Montgomery Ward in Portland and The Outdoor Store in Oregon City.

Survivors include two sons, Byron Belmont of Eugene and Norman Belmont of Roseburg; a sister, Velma Stocking of Eugene; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A private burial will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
