Barbara Cupp Wild, 50, of Abilene, died Tuesday, November 25, 2003 at her residence. Services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the Salvation Army Chapel, 1733 Poplar, with Major Parrish officiating. Burial will be on Monday, December 1, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at the Masonic section of the Abilene Municipal Cemetery, directed by Abilene Funeral Home, 3349 North 12th Street.
Mrs. Wild was born August 12, 1953 in Brownwood. She worked as a home health care provider and did volunteer work for the Salvation Army for many years.
She is survived by her three daughters, Donna Fisher of Austin, Mary Weston of Los Angeles, and Nella Adams of Abilene; a son, Donovan Adams of Abilene; her mother, Mary Jo Cupp of Brownwood; a brother, Gerald D. Cupp also of Brownwood; a sister, Martha Cupp of Austin; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Wild; a daughter, Melissa Adams; father, Dan Cupp; and companion, Donald Adams.
Viewing will be on Friday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
