Tire in Barnesville. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Barnesville, where he once served as Sunday School Superintendent, Deacon, and on the
Board of Trustees. Mr. Corley was also a Past President of the Barnesville Lamar County Jaycees & The Lamar County Chamber of Commerce. He was a WWII Veteran, having served in the U. S. Army.
Survivors include: His wife - Leugin Corley of Barnesville; 1 Son - Ricky Charles Corley of Barnesville ; 1 Grandson - Dustin Gary Corley (& fiance, Sheena Urbaniak) of Youngstown, FL ; 1 Sister - Kathryn (& Edwin "Pete") McCain of Griffin ; 2 Brothers - Donald (& Wynette) Corley of Chattanooga, TN ; & Kenneth (& Laverne) Corley of Barnesville ; Several Nieces and Nephews ; and Special Friends - Wimpy and Vickie Vaughan of Milner.
Funeral Services for Mr. John Clifford "J.C." Corley will be conducted Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 2 O' Clock in the First United Methodist Church of Barnesville with Rev. Jay Tenney and Rev. Mary Joe Willoughby officiating. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends here at the funeral home
Wednesday evening, June 27, 2007 from 6pm until 8pm.
