Died Sunday, Aug. 3, 1986, at Lane Memorial Hospital, Zachary, after a short illness. He was 76, a native of Winnfield and resident of Grayson. He was a merchant.

Religious services at Riser & Son Funeral Home, Columbia, 10 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Julius Russell. Burial in Welcome Home Cemetery, Grayson.

Survived by a son, James Virgil Anderson, Baker; a daughter, Myrtle Faye Anderson Hebert, Baker; two sisters, Mrs. Mable Evans, Winnfield, and Mrs. Gertie Martin, Olla; four grandchildren, Mike Hebert, Sharon Hebert Duncan, Benny Anderson, and Wanda Anderson Verrett, all of Baker; and eight great-grandchildren.
