Funeral Services for Mr. Virgil "V. E." Lively, age 78, of West Monroe were held 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 21 from the Kilpatrick's West Monroe Chapel with Dr. Gayle Dean officiating. Interment followed in the Old Bethel Cemetery in Clarks, La. Mr. Lively died Wednesday, January 19, 1994 [at] Glenwood Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. Mr. Lively was a retired mechanic from Van Trow since 1968.

Survivors include: Wife: Edna Lively, West Monroe, Daughters: Burnie Fay Garretson, Vidalia, La., Virgie Joiner, West Monroe, Son: Charlie Robinson, West Monroe, 4 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
