Dorothy C. Flispart, 90, New Albany, died Thursday, June 28, 2007, at Providence Retirement Home.

The former Dorothy C. McKinley, she was a homemaker and former member of the old Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Flispart Sr.; her parents, Claude and Virginia McKinley; three brothers, Stanley, Tony and Eugene McKinley; a sister, Virginia Eiling; and a granddaughter, Terri Hurst.

Survivors include two sons, James F. Flispart of New Albany Anthony E. (Tony) Schoonover of Lady Lake, Fla.; eight daughters, Beverly A. Hardin, Virginia K. Knipe and Nancy J. Brown, all of New Albany, Mary Pat Emery, Mary Anne Janes and Barbara S. Gardner, all of Louisville, Carolyn M. Scott of Lanesville and Paula L. Troutman of Laconia; 21 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Sunday, July 1, from noon to 8 p.m. at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes and Monday, July 2, after 10 a.m. at Providence Retirement Home Chapel.

Funeral: Monday, July 2, at 10:30 a.m. at Providence Retirement Home with interment at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial gifts to Providence Retirement Home.
