Funeral Services For Sidney Slabaugh, Ligonier, Sunday
Sidney Slabaugh died at 7 p m Thursday at his home in Ligonier after an illness of six months. He was born west of Salem, May 5, 1871, the son of Chistian (sic) and Catherine Bowsher Slabaugh and lived all his life in the Ligonier community.
November 8, 1894, he married Miss Lillie Sackett in Ligonier. A retired farmer, Mr. Slabaugh was a member of the Methodist Church in Ligonier.
Survivors include the widow; a sister, Mrs. Ollie Larimer, of Glendive, Montana, and a brother, Ray, of Ligonier.
Funeral services were held in the Slabaugh residence at 2 p m Sunday with the Rev. Dale Beatty officiating Burial was in the Salem Cemetery.
