Was born January 29, 1963 and died June 24, 2007. He graduated Hillcrest High School and attended Hardin-Simmons University. He is survived by his wife, Ashley Denise Gabbert, his sons, John N. Gabbert-Age 9 years, Mark C. Gabbert Age 7 years, and William Luke Gabbert Age 7 years. He is also survived by his mother, Elaine W. Gabbert and brother, Gerald W. Gabbert. Preceded in death by father, John C. Gabbert and brother, John C. Gabbert Jr. He was known as Uncle Greg by many nieces and nephews. Greg managed family owned and operated businesses to include the Aladdin Car Wash' in Dallas, Texas and Sundance in Lubbock, Texas. Greg and Ashley lived in Lubbock, Texas for six years previous to last year when they relocated back to Dallas to care for his mother Elaine while she is recovering from the effects of a stoke. Greg was closer than family to many, many friends. He will be sorely missed. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 28, 2007 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Highway Chapel at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, June 30, 2007.∼B & D: Dallas,TX.
