Rosella P. Boose

Rosella P. (Sterner) Boose, 79, of Autumn House at Powder Mill, died at 2:40 p.m. Thursday at the home. She was the wife of the late Foster "Speck" R. Boose.
The service will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock. Burial will be in Zion (Shaffer's) Union Cemetery. Viewing will be 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Boose was born on March 28, 1914, in Jefferson. She was the daughter of the late Elmer and Annie E. (Spangler) Sterner.
She was employed as a floor lady with the former S&R Sewing Co. in Jefferson, retiring in 1961 after 25 years of service.
A member of Zion (Shaffer’s) United Lutheran Church, she belonged to the American Association of Retired Persons.
She lived in the LaRue area of Springfield Township before moving to Dallastown in 1986.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. J. Thomas Shelley.
