Juanita Elizabeth Bailey, 92, a lifelong resident of Annapolis, MD. died of natural causes June 20, 2007 at the Spa Creek Center Genesis ElderCare Network after a six-month illness.
Mrs. Bailey was born Sept. 25, 1914, in Annapolis, where she attended the former Stanton Elementary School and Hampton Institute.
She was a homemaker and member of the Asbury United Methodist Church and the Fleet Reserve Club.
An avid reader, her interests included cooking.
Surviving are her husband, Wyatt M. Bailey Jr., whom she married March 4, 1953; one son, Charles Gordon Ross Jr. of Baltimore; two brothers, Walter and Joseph Spriggs, both of Annapolis; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She divorced her former husband, Charles Gordon Ross Sr., in 1947.
