Clarence Stanley Allen, 91, died Friday, March 30. 2007, in Glasgow. A native of Barren County, he was the son of the late John Clarence and Beulah Lively Allen. He was a farmer and a member of the Mount Tabor Baptist Church, where he also served as a deacon.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Mary Maxine Allen; one sister, Jewell Jackman of Glasgow; one son, Robert Allen and wife, Dianne, of Glasgow; two grandchildren, James Allen and wife, Amy, and Alicia Allen and husband, Jeff, of Glasgow; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters, Bernice Crenshaw, Pearl Allen, Lolita Bulock, Elizabeth Allen and Annie Mae Jackman; and one brother, Henry Allen.

Burial will be in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
