James Colton Daniels, 49, of Waynesville, GA died (June 20, 2007) Wednesday afternoon at his residence following a lengthy illness.

Born in Glynn Co, GA. He is the son of Dorothy Mae O'Quinn Daniels and the late Hugh Colton Daniels.

He loved his work and the people he worked with, where he was a Dump Truck equipment operator with R & J Trucking. He loved racing and mud bogging and his family. He was a member of Palmetto Pentecostal Church.

James is survived by his wife of 24 years, Renea Norfleet Daniels, a son, Colt Daniels and a daughter, Cheyenne Daniels all of Waynesville, GA; his mother, Dorothy Mae Daniels of Waynesville, GA; 3 brothers, Wayne Daniels (Peggy) of Waynesville, GA, Denny Daniels (Rose) of Nahunta, GA and John Daniels of Waynesville, GA and a sister, Glenda Taylor (Glenn) of Folkston, GA; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be Thursday evening starting at 6 p.m. at Chambless-Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

Funeral services will be Friday (June 22, 2007) at 2 p.m. at Palmetto Pentecostal Church with Rev. William Johns and Rev. Otis Johns officiating. Burial will follow in Palmetto Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Andy Taylor, Ricky O'Quinn, Bud O'Quinn, Kenny Daniels, Billy Jack Daniels and Tommy Daniels.

Honorary pallbearers will be Norman Lee and Man Norfleet.
