"Lifelong Spokane resident Ira E. Carter, 74, W808 Jackson, died Tuesday in a local hospital.

Funeral services are scheduled at noon Monday at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home with burial in Chattaroy Cemetery, Chattaroy, Wash.

Mr. Carter was a retired overhead crane operator at the Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corp. Mead plant.

Surviving are a half-brother, Porter Carter of Colville, Wash.; and two half-sisters, Edna Uren of Santa Rosa, Calif., and Mary Staley of Duberry, B.C." The Spokesman-Review (Spokane, Washington), December 22, 1976
