Mr. David Eugene Mitchell, age 23, of Yatesville, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2007 in an Atlanta Heathcare Facility. A native of Monroe County, he made his home in Upson County for a number of years. Son of the late Mr. David Wendell Mitchell and Mrs. Rebecca Kay Fincher Kimball, he was preceded in death by a sister, Miss Melissa Mitchell. Mr. Mitchell was employed as a Plumber and was a member of the Church of the Narrow Way.
Survivors include: his son, David Nathaniel Mitchell of Pike County; his girlfriend, Marai Godfrey of Jasper; his mother, Rebecca (Scott) Mitchell of Yatesville; his sister, Deanna Mitchell of Yatesville; his paternal grandmother, Jeanett Mitchell of Barnesville.
Memorial services for Mr. David Eugene Mitchell will be conducted Thursday, June 21, 2007 at 2:00 o'clock p.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home with Rev. Al Plume officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
