Juan A. Garcia, age 63, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2007. He was born in Bernardo, NM, and graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1963. Juan served in the New Mexico National Guard for five years. He retired from Duke City Lumber in 1991 when he went on to work for ABF, retiring in 2005; and was a member of the Local Teamsters 492. Juan was a coach at South Valley Little League for 18 years where he won many championships. He was still called "Coach" by many former players. His greatest joy in life was to work at the ranch and spend time with all eight of his grandchildren. Juan passed his love for the Dallas Cowboys on to his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andalecio Garcia and Elvira Silva Garcia. Juan is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Yolanda Garcia; four loving children, John Garcia and his wife, Loretta, Mark Garcia and his wife, Diana, Ann Dee Gonzales and her husband, Paul, and Tim Garcia and his fiancee, Lindsey Carrillo; eight grandchildren, Renee, Jennifer, Jacob, Juan, Brandon, and Aubrianna Garcia, Michael and Fermin Andres Gonzales; siblings, Dino Garcia and his wife, Ruby, Andy Garcia, Raymond Garcia, Sally Teupell and her husband, George, Teles Baca, Paul Garcia and his wife, Nora, Carmen Torres and her husband, David, and Toni Hopp and her husband, Terry. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held at San Clemente Catholic Church, in Los Lunas, on Thursday, June 21, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m. A final visitation will be held at San Antonio Mission, in Abeytas, on Friday, June 22, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Abeytas Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy Garcia, Van Rocco, Alex Salazar, Armin Dominguez, Lawrence Jaramillo, and Paul Gonzales.
