Rabbit Creek Journal – February 27, 2001 – Judith Ann Borsoff, 56, of Strawberry Valley died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2001 at her residence. Born in the Dalles, she was a Yuba Sutter resident for 26 years. She was the Postmaster for Strawberry Valley and a 16-year member of Alcoholics Anonymous Dobbins Chapter known as the Wild Bunch. She was also a member of the National League of Postmasters and the founder of the Strawberry Valley Garden Club. Survivors include her husband, Benjamin Borsoff of Strawberry Valley; a stepson, Timothy Borsoff of Nevada City; a brother, Bill Wachter of Madras, Oregon; and two sisters, Ruby Gross of Parkdale, Ore. And Susan Kent of Culver, Ore. Graveside services were held on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2001 at the Strawberry Valley Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Hutchinson and Carnes Colonial Chapel.
