Beatrice was born in Dallas, Texas, to the late Emmitt DeWitt Clark and Ouida Ruth Cunningham Clark. She was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church in Waco, graduated from Waco High School in 1938, and received a BA degree from Baylor University in 1942. She married Ralph Robertson on Nov. 20, 1948, at Calvary Baptist Church. Beatrice's love for God, her family, and her church were the focus of her life. She taught Sunday School in the children's department at Calvary Baptist for many years. She and Ralph adopted many Baylor students who attended Calvary, some who remain dear friends today. She was a gracious hostess to many Sunday school parties and youth and college fellowships. Anyone who came to her home knew they would be welcome and well fed. She loved to serve and did so with a humble heart.
She was preceded in death by her cousin, Roland Clark; dear friends Brownie Boyd and Helen Ledbetter; and other friends and loved ones.
She is survived by her husband of 58½ years, Ralph Robertson; son, Clark Robertson and wife, Nancy, of Monterey, Calif.; daughter, Ruth Ann Turner and husband, Kent, of Trophy Club, Texas; grandchildren, Kati Grow and husband, York, Rebecca Rumsey and husband, Chad, Scott, Chase and Ellen Turner; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Nicholas, Timothy, Nathaniel, Marigrace and Andrew Grow, and Hanna and Thomas Rumsey.
