Services for Loreta Frances Daniel Calvert, 88, Blue Springs, Mo., were Monday, March 28, at the McGilley and Frye Funeral Home in Olathe. Burial was in De Soto Cemetery.
Mrs. Calvert died Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at the Blue Springs Care Center.
She was born Dec. 6, 1916, in Sand Springs, Okla., the daughter of O.P. and Edith Lucille Lynch Daniel.
Mrs. Calvert lived in Sunflower Village from 1951 to 1956 where she worked for the Hercules ammunition plant. She then moved to Olathe where she retired from Puritan Bennett in 1987. She was a longtime Olathe resident until moving to Blue Springs, Mo., in 1998.
She married Earl Eugene Calvert. He died earlier. A brother, O.P. "Jack" Daniel; and two sisters, Daphne "Judy" Cox and Barbara Brown also preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Kelly Buckley and Karen Middaugh; three brothers, Richard Daniel, William Daniel and Max Daniel; a sister, Patricia Perdue; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
