Mr. Massey was born and raised in Amarillo. He worked for Victor Summerville as a drywall finisher and was a member of the Church of God in Christ.
Survivors include his mother, Ruth Massey of the home; two sisters, Pat Carroll of Amarillo and Debbie Davis of Tucson; his ex-wife, Vicky Guinn of Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Christy Flores of Amarillo; a stepson, Kevin Conners of Amarillo; and three grandchildren.
