Youngest daughter of Mr. Elihu (Elisha?) Sparks and Sarah (Almand) Sparks. Married Joel Colley Armistead 23 Aug 1860 and lived in Atlanta, GA. According to family lore, when the Yankee soldiers were burning Atlanta, she begged them to save her furniture before they burned the house. They removed the furniture and then burned the house. She then lived in a railroad boxcar until the war ended. She and Joel had 9 children.

Their grave plot is located across the aisle from Margaret Mitchell's grave plot.
