Quincie M. Austin, age 80 of Wauchula, died June 7, 2007 of heart failure at Hardee Manor Care Center. A resident of Wauchula since 1998, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wauchula. She retired after 25 years as a Beautician. She owned and operated her own Beauty Shops in Lehigh Acres and Immokalee. She was preceded in death by her husband William in 1996, and infant son, Alan, and her parents Woodie Mock and Zola Newberry Mock. She is survived by a daughter Kathy Walker and husband James of Wauchula and a grandson Jarod.
