Ora Chester Smith married Marjorie Howard Sargent on August 12, 1939. He was the father of seven children, of which my mother was the eldest. He used to get us all in trouble. I am proud to say that, as the oldest grandchild, I helped start the dubious finger in the sugar bowl tradition. Although, it is probable he led his own children astray well before me!

You left quite a legacy, Papa, and you are most definitely missed.
