He was born June 10, 1931 to May Reeves and Max Jacoby in Ranger and was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the US Air Force. His wife was Mary Alice.
Survivors at the time of his death include daughters; Clara Jacoby and Diane Jacoby; sons, Brad Jacoby and Max Jacoby. Interment was at Restland Cemetery in Richardson, Texas.
Also surviving are a brother, Mellenger Max Jacoby of Hilltop Lakes, Texas, and two sisters, Claudine Jacoby Dyer of Grand Junction, Colorado, & Laverne Jacoby of Hurst, Texas. Sisters Maxine Jacoby Asher and Clara Mae Jacoby Watson are deceased.
