Born July 6, 1915 in Cowley, Wyoming to Lorum Sidney Asay and Caroline Bradshaw Asay. He married Bernadine Claire Marshall of Hemingford, Nebraska on July 6, 1940; later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple, February 19, 1941. Served in the CCC's until 1939, then served in the Wyoming National Guard during the 1940's. Worked in Alaska for the Army for 6 months. Worked in the Great Western Sugar Factory for 15 years in Lovell, Wyoming. Retired carpenter for over 60 years. Active member of the LDS Church, where he served in the Great Salt Lake Council for the Boy Scouts of America and held many other church positions.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday, Jan. 15, 1992 at 12 Noon in the Harvard Ward, 1021 So. 200 East. Friends may call at the Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 So., Tuesday the 14th from 7 to 8 P.M. and One Hour Prior At The Ward. Interment: Lovell City Cemetery, Lovell, Wyoming.
