JR met Mary when she was with Ronnie and married her after his birth, he has always thought of Ronnie as his and raised him that way. After the finale divorce JR raised all of the boys. [Ronnie did go to Florida to met his father in the 1980's but thought of JR as his father]

One year we needed a Santa when we gave a Christmas party at his Grandma Wall's for the family and we talked Ronnie in to doing it. JR was so proud. Ronnie than borrowed the suit and played Santa other places. He loved it.

It was put together by a woman who was on drugs and a person Ronnie's father was living with but not married to, the brothers and sisters she listed are not related (I had trouble with JR to get Ronnie's children and grandchildren listed). She did not want Ronnie's true mother listed nor his brothers, aunts and uncles. Just her family as his. For this reason I will not list the obit here.
