Mellozen Ann (Dockerty) Cornelison, 94, died Thursday, March 13, 2008 at the Carlisle Care Center. Services will be at 2 p.m., March 17 at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola, IA with visitation from 12:30 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in the Murray Cemetery, Murray, IA.

Survivors include son, George Cornelison; daughter, Leanna (Frank) Barvinek, Carlisle, IA; stepson, Delmar Cornelison, Quincy, MA; grandsons, Darren (Jeanene) Chipp and Daniel (Marj) Chipp, Latimer, IA; and granddaughter, Deena (Neil) Swyers, Salem, MO; stepgranddaughter, Paula (Mark) Randall, Quincy, MA; four great-grandsons, one stepgreat-grandson, and four stepgreat-granddaughters.

Extended family members are Lori (Kyle) Linn, Fayetteville, AK, Susan (Tom) Mass, Ankeny, IA and Joel (Cheryl) Barvinek, Lake Wylie, SC.

Mellie joins her family in Heaven; husband, Earnie; daughters, Mary Jane and Carolyn Wright; sons, Merrill Dean, and Galen LaVere Cornelison; and granddaughter Deanna Lynn Chipp.

We love and miss you. You were a good mama and the best Grandma Earnie; thank you for giving us life's tools that didn't cost a penny, but that have been worth a million.
