OSAGE CITY—Clarence Earl Rowe “School Boy” Rowe, 77, Scranton, died Wednesday at an Osage City nursing home. He was born Dec. 18, 1904, at Scranton the son of William and Elizabeth Stephens Rowe. He spent most of his life in the Scranton community. Mr. Rowe was an electrician and later a foreman at Topeka at Topeka Supply Depot until it closed. He then worked for several Scranton area implement dealers setting up new equipment. He attended Scranton United Methodist Church and was a past member of Scranton Lions Club. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Beulah Bogren, Scranton; a brother, William Rowe, Las Vegas, Nev. Services will be a 2 p.m. Saturday at Scranton United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Scranton Cemetery. Mr. Rowe will lie in state from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday and from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Crable Funeral Chapel, Osage City and from noon until service time at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Scranton United Methodist Church. TCJ 8-12-1982
