WEBB, Ala. -- James Monroe Britt Sr., 54, truck driver for Summerford Truckline Inc, Ashford, Ala., died March 10, 1994, in Montgomery, Ala.
A native of Winter Haven, he lived in Silver Springs for 21 years before moving to Alabama two years ago. He was a subcontractor in Ocala; a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church; and a country music and gospel musician.
Survivors include his mother, Lavon A. Britt, Silver Springs; sons, Jimbo Richard and Gene Britt, all of Silver Springs, and Preston Britt, Geneva, Ala.; daughter, Brenda Lovering, Lakeland; brother, William E. Britt Jr., Silver Springs; and five grandchildren.
Roberts Funeral Home, Ocala, is handling arrangements.
