ADAMS—Joseph H. Adams, 83, of Reserve, Kans., died Friday, February 23 at 7:10 a.m., at the Falls City Community Hospital. A son of the late George and Mo_l_e Adams he was born half a mile north of Big Lake in Holt County, Mo., September 20, 1884. He grew up in Holt County and attended schools there. He was married to Grace Duncan June 4, 1910 at Winfield, Kans., and they made their home in Oklahoma. After her death, he married Myrtle E. Johnson. He is survived by the wife, Myrtle, of the home; two sons, Samuel Adams of California and Joseph Adams of Arlington, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Gracie Sweet of Nebraska City, Nebr., and Lela Adams of California; two brothers, Ira Adams of Falls City, Nebr., and Russell Adams of Rulo, Nebr. The body is at the Chaney-Hodgens-Sharrar Funeral Home in Falls City, where funeral arrangements are pending.
