Phyllis Jean Daugherty Bryan, age 49 of Burnet died November 12, 2006 in Burnet, TX. Pyhllis was born on January 25, 1957 in Burnet to Aaron B. and Venida Rambo Daugherty. Phyllis worked and lived in Burnet most all her life. She had a great love for her Lord Jesus and shared his love everywhere she went. Phyllis is survived by her husband John Carlos Bryan of Ft. Worth, TX.; 2 sons, Chris Roberts of Ft. Worth and Jessie Roberts and his wife Sondra of Cleburne, TX. and by 1 daughter Rene Harlow and her husband Colby of Burnet. Also surviving is 1 sister Pam Daugherty of Burnet; parents A.B. and Venida Daugherty of Burnet. Phyllis is also survived by 2 grandsons Zachary and Aaron B. Harlow. She was preceded in death by a son Zachary B. Crow in 1983. Visitation will be from 7-9pm Tuesday November 14, 2006 at the Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet. Funeral services will be conducted at 10am Wednesday November 15, 2006 at the Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet with Allan Jones and Bill Neusch officiating. Interment will follow at the Post Mountain Cemetery in Burnet. Honoring Phyllis as pallbearers were Jose Colombo, Steven Neusch, Arliss Brummett, Brent Daniels, Phillip Fletcher and Jay Stone. Joe Smith was named as an honorary pallbearer. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Herman Brown Burnet County Library building fund c/o 100 E. Washington, Burnet, TX. 78611.
