Polly Mae Tatum Morgan, 77, of Waycross died Sunday night (May 27, 2007) at her residence after an extended illness. She was a born in Ware County to the late Ronnie Tatum and Chrissy Steedley Tatum, and lived here all of her life. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Brandi Miller.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Morgan, Waycross, one daughter, Christine Hester, Waycross, one son, Wayne Hester, Brunswick, one great-grandchild, Jerika Miller, close friends, Eloise Dryden, Waycross, Ruth Mixon, Waycross, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 am at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.
