VALPARAISO- Harold L. Ludington, age 68, of Valparaiso died on Thursday, May 30, 1991, at Porter Memorial Hospital.

He was born on August 29, 1922, in Porter County, the son of Eber and Bertha (Dittman) Ludington.

Mr. Ludington retired from R.W. Pool and Co. in 1987 and was a member of the Valparaiso Moose Lodge.

On July 1, 1944, he married Dorothy Massom who preceded him in death on December 1, 1990.

His survivors include three daughters, Darlene (Eston) Phillips of Georgia, Cheryl (Maurice) Sedlacek of Chesterton and Deborah (Ron) Oakes of Valparaiso. Three sisters, Marie and Betty Warner of Valparaiso and Velma Williams of Bluffton. Two Brothers, Kenneth and Donald of Valparaiso and seven grandchildren.

Mr. Ludington was preceded in death by one daughter and four brothers.

Services will be held at 10 am Saturday, June 1, 1991 at Moeller Funeral Home with the Rev. M.W. Robert Craig officiating with burial to follow at Ludington Cemetery in Porter Township. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Friday May 31 at the funeral home. All memorials to be directed to the Porter County Cancer Fund.
